The Gallery of Modern Art opened in 1996 and is housed in an elegant, neo-classical building in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The building was refurbished to house the city's contemporary art collection, and is an appealing combination of old and new architecture. GoMA is the second most visited contemporary art gallery outside London, offering a thought-provoking programme of temporary exhibitions and workshops
Currently showing, until 29 September, is an exhibition of new work by the Glasgow-based artist Jim Lambie, including a spectacular vinyl floor and several new sculptures.
Intermezzo offer tailor-made guided tours of the Gallery of Modern Art, including lunch.
